A Walk In The Woods
A Walk In The Woods
I take a walk in the woods,
In the early hours of the morning,
When the sun’s just risen,
And not many are up yet.
Though I have a peaceful sleep at night,
The moment I awake,
My mind gets filled
With perturbing thoughts,
Reality suddenly hangs before me,
The world becomes too fast and too slow,
All at the same time.
A stroll through the woods,
That is filled with a soothing silence,
Broken only by my footsteps,
As I tread on the soft grass,
Frees my mind from
The worries of a dreary world,
Refreshing it for a new day.
