Carpe Diem

Mon Amor! Every moment I spend with you,

Is a moment I will always hold dear in my heart.

Your soft face, with doe-shaped eyes,

A sweet smile, and long, silky, black hair,

Is like the delicate petals of a rose,

Which might whither away after a while,

But which I will cherish, right now, in this moment.

Let’s dance in a field of pink and yellow tulips,

To the mellifluous songs of the thrushes,

Under a ceiling, painted in light shades of blue,

For hours and hours, looking into each other’s eyes,

As if tomorrow doesn’t exist.

Let’s lie on the soft, green grass,

And gaze at the stars above,

Twinkling in the night sky,

And hold each other’s hands,

Finding solace in the silence of the night.
