Dreamland- A Land Of Bliss
Dreamland- A Land Of Bliss
Every night, when I lie in my soft, cozy bed,
As soon as my head hits my pillow,
I’m taken into another world,
Where the fantasies in my mind become real.
Fairies and unicorns fly in a purple sky
Having blue and pink clouds that look like cotton candy.
Several butterflies of different colors and shapes swirl around me,
As they land on the soft petals of pretty roses,
That infuse a sweet fragrance in the cool air.
I visit the little cottages of pixies and gnomes,
Made of mushrooms or oak trees,
Deep in the thick woods,
Where the sunlight travels through layers of leaves,
Giving the woods a surreal glow.
I swim deep in the cerulean-blue waters of the sea,
Along with mermaids who rule the coral reefs below.
I wear elegant tiaras and dainty gowns,
And sit in intricately carved thrones
In a lovely castle where I’m a princess.
Oh! How I wish I could stay here forever,
In an eternal dreamland,
Where I’m always joyful and carefree.
