Snoozzze!
Snoozzze!
Tring, tringg! The alarm rings,
Just five more minutes!
I hit snooze, and sleep again,
Snuggling in my comfy bed.
A bright light opens my eyes,
I look at my phone-
It’s already eight, I’m late!
I toss my cozy covers,
I jump out of bed,
I bolt to the bathroom,
Throw some water on my head.
From my chaotic closet,
I grab a few clothes to wear,
Then quickly brush out my hair.
I take a big bite of toast,
Snatch my school bag,
And dash out the door.
‘Has the bell rung already?’
The guard laughs heartily,
‘Why, today’s a Sunday, kid!’
